Spring

Our brewery tours are refreshing in their own way, offering local craft beer and irresistible fare. When days warm but nighttime temperatures still plummet, sap begins to flow in New Hampshire’s maple trees, and maple-sugaring season gets underway. Maple producers make syrup and other maple delights, and pancakes taste better than you've ever dreamed they might.
Summer
In Summer months, guests can enjoy picnic lunches while hiking through the White Mountain National Forest, enjoy a waterfall or other scenic wonder, or go swimming or canoeing. Our crystal clear lakes provide a cool, refreshing dip for swimmers of all abilities. For the ambitious, over 150 miles of trails link the scenic peaks of the famous Presidential Mountain Range. Mountain biking and hiking opportunities abound! Horseback riding and golf are available right nearby as well.
Autumn
Autumn in New Hampshire brings the most spectacular display of color and vibrance that must be seen to be appreciated. The surrounding mountains provide the perfect backdrop for the vivid hues of the fall foliage. Take a ride along the scenic Kancamagus Highway, 30 miles of spectacular viewing along the only National Scenic Byway in New England. Allow plenty of time for stops to picnic, to view the scenery from an overlook, or to hike a short distance to a beautiful waterfall.
Winter
During the Winter months, you can enjoy cross country skiing on trails all around the area. The Mount Washington Valley Ski Touring Association offers 65 kilometers of varying challenges throughout the area. If alpine skiing is your passion, just minutes away you can enjoy superb alpine skiing at either Cranmore or Attitash Bear Peak. Both ski areas offer a wide choice of skiing to challenge even the most expert skiers. If you want variety in your skiing, five other major ski areas are within an hour's drive from our door.
