Thank you to all of our amazing seasonals and guests here at Foothills this year. We’ve had some amazing memories and hope you did too. We appreciate all the wonderful people who have come back to visit and those who came for the first time in 2021. We are sad and happy at the same time to close out our second season at Foothills! We’ll see you in 2022!
Harvest Potluck
4 pm - 6:30 pm Old fashion pot luck supper bring a dish that feeds 6-8 people, enjoy the company of our fellow guests for one last gathering for the season.
6:30 pm Smore’s around the campfire.
The Sandwich Fair
The Sandwich Fair will be happening October 8th - October 10th 2021 Check out their website for more information!

Fryeburg Fair
The Fryeburg Fair is only 24 miles away from us and is planned for 10/3/21 - 10/10/21 this year. More information for the fair can be found here https://www.fryeburgfair.org/p/about
Animals, competitions, fair food, music, rides and other entertainment will fill your day!
Halloween at The Foothills
10 am - 12 pm Candy Bar Bingo, bring a full size candy bar to get a bingo card. Winner takes the candy loot.
1 pm - 3 pm Kids Costume Contest and trick or treating. Sign up to be site for trick or treating.
5 pm - 7 pm Campsite crawl (Adult only) - sign up to be a sponsored site where you decorate your site for Halloween to be judged by the adults - provide an appetizer or dessert and the guests will judge your decorations so feed them well! Get a map from the store to see which sites are decorating and pick the winner.
First Annual Foothills Chili Contest
Foothills First annual chili contest. Winner will have bragging rights!
Ceramics by the Pond
$$ - Lakeside Ceramics and Embroidery is Hosting a Ceramics Paint night. Pieces are available for purchase $10 and up, paint, brushes are provided! Paint and take home with you! Tables will be set up by the pond for this event. Pieces are sold until 7:15 pm to allow time for completion of piece.
Foothills Amazing Race and Lobster Bake
10 am - 2pm Foothills Amazing Race will include a timed friendly competition to complete a variety of tasks. Best time wins the competition.
Competition groups:
12 and under, 13 - 17, 18 and up.
2 pm - 7 pm - Cornhole competition

Christmas in July
11:00 am Christmas Hat or Stocking decorating $5.00
2:30 pm Campground crawl - walk about the campground to judge the best decorated campground sites. Email us at foothillscampground@outlook.com to have your site listed for the competition!
5:00 pm Pot luck - Bring a dish/ dessert to share to feed at least 8 people.
7:30 pm Christmas sing along by the campfire.

4th of July Bike and Golf cart parade
11 am - 1 pm Join us in decorating your bikes and golf carts for a 4th of July parade through the campground.
2 pm - 3 pm line up by the store and kick off for the parade.
3 pm - 5 pm Tie dye shirts by the pond. Buy a Foothills T-Shirt to tie dye for $15.
4th of July Fireworks

Please note: No Fireworks are permitted on the Foothills Family Campground property. We apprecaite you understanding that we are located in a very wooded area and wouldn’t want to risk fires.

End of the Season
